5 star rating Close to Monastery Went to the St. Anthony Monastery for a few days. This motel is about a 5 or 10 minute drive from the monastery. Comfortable bed and a clean room. In a quiet setting with lots of beautiful saguaros and joshua trees all around.

11/2023 First time visiting Rancho Sonoran. The staff and Mgmt are top shelf! We arrived late Oct. shortly before the bulk of winter visitors arrived. We were thrilled to nab a space at this time of year. Very nice sites, beautiful natural desert landscape. The sunsets and sunrise are what some only get to dream about! Beautiful sparkling pool and nice sized hot tub. Cabana Boy was kinda cute????. We had to leave before winter visitor activities began and I hope to be back for all the fun the Mgmt informed us about. Guests tend to be returning visitors so if you want to secure your site, do it well in advance. We were shown the casitas and rooms off the courtyard. This place is fantastic and I cannot recommend it enough or WAIT until we return again. PS. We never wanted to leave!! WS & D Johnson Idaho/Arizona/Oklahoma
